Exothermic Welding
The exothermic welding connection is a
fusion of high conductivity, high copper
content alloys which produces a molecular
weld and has below properties:
1. The exothermic welding connection is
highly conductive.
2. The exothermic welding connections will
not be affected by a high current surge.
3. Exothermic welding connections will not
loosen or corrode at the point of weld. In
other word, an exothermic welding connection
becomes an integral part of the conductor.
4. Exothermic welding connections have a
current carrying capacity equal to or
greater than that of the conductors.
